Paul Gribble was born in 1938, and lived in Bristol until recently when he moved to a small village in the heart of Exmoor National Park.

As a young man he won a scholarship to the West of England Academy of Art. On completion of his course he went into advertising as a graphic designer winning numerous awards at international packaging exhibitions.

He was fortunate to serve his apprenticeship under two fine artists, one of which is Edwin Penny, acclaimed as one of the world's finest wildlife artists. In 1978 he left advertising to become a full-time artist.

Paul's work covers a wide range of subjects including sportscenes, portraits, children and transport. His paintings have been widely exhibited and sold throughout the United States and he is represented in many noteworthy private collections.

His paintings have also been widely reproduced by leading publishing houses as prints and in greeting card form.

He has exhibited at: Burlington Sporting Gallery, Burlington Fine Art Gallery, King's Street Gallery, West of England Society of Artists.
